Different substrates require different coating systems because adhesion, corrosion risk, decorative expectations and service environment are not exactly the same.
For steel structure and machinery, buyers usually focus more on anti-rust performance, film build, long-term weather resistance and compatibility between primer and topcoat.
For decorative metal, surface appearance, gloss level, color consistency and smoothness may become more important than heavy-duty protection.
For projects involving export, it is also practical to confirm packaging style, target market, transport method and whether technical documents such as TDS, MSDS and COA are needed.
Before finalizing a product, it is helpful to tell the supplier the substrate type, surface treatment condition, construction method, color requirement, quantity and end-use environment.
